The Bernhard-Nocht-Institute for Tropical Medicine (BNITM) is an independent legal entity, a Foundation under Public Law. The Institute is a member of the Leibniz Association, one of the four major German science organisations. It operates under the auspices of the German Ministry of Health and of the Government Agency for Science and Research of the Federal State and City of Hamburg.
BNITM was made the German reference centre for Tropical Medicine and Diagnosis of Pathogens of Tropical Diseases in 2000 and a WHO reference centre in 2003. Additionally, to an expertise in molecular research and epidemiology, the BNITM has also a long-standing experience in clinical research and holds several European and overseas cooperation, including among others the Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research (KCCR) in Kumasi, Ghana and the Centre de Recherches Medicales de Lambaréné (CERMEL) in Lambaréné, Gabon.
The BNITM and the University Clinic of Hamburg Eppendorf (UKE) have a long-standing cooperation. At the UKE the 1st Department of Internal Medicine includes sections for Tropical Medicine and for Infectious Diseases, which are involved in patient care and house the travel and vaccination consultation as an outpatient department as well as an inpatient ward for patients suffering from tropical/infectious diseases. Additionally, there is a continuously running isolation ward for high consequence infectious diseases. In 2014 an Ebola patient was successfully treated in this ward. Within this isolation ward personnel are continuously trained for emergency situations such as reception of patients with viral haemorrhagic fevers.
For the ongoing tropicsafe project, the team is situated at the Bernhard-Nocht-Institute for Tropical Medicine and works in close cooperation with the Infectious Disease and Tropical Medicine Sections at the UKE.

SGS TECNOS is a leader in certification and regulation. It´s also a renowned training company with long experience in vocational training. They work to achieve an improvement in the working conditions.
Since 2005, SGS has a specific department to carry out numerous National and International projects in all activities and sectors. In these projects, SGS has different roles (coordination, pedagogical reviewing, ICT Projects, R&D&i Projects, HSE (health and safety of work), environment, energy, vocational training, etc.
SGS was the partner and coordinator in several calls of TOI Leonardo da Vinci (Call 2011 and 2012) and has coordinated 6 KA2 Erasmus+ projects. The Innovation Projects Department of SGS has worked in other European calls such the LIFE programme, AAL Projects (Active and Assisted Living European Programme), European Neighborhood Instrument (ENI CBC MED) EIT HEALTH or Horizon 2020 SGS has a long experience developing trainings in the health and work safety sector. Through its division of innovative projects they have created innovative trainings in the framework of European projects to contribute that third entities become safer and better places to work. They have brought their experience in training towards public funded projects with the aim to improve the safety at work, through the creation of homogeneus standards and ICT-based trainings.
This company is an expert in the medical transport sector because of has developed projects with Spanish Ambulances Association (ANEA) in several topics (industry, ITC, health and safety of work ) and participates in their Committees.
SGS has published some prevention guides against biological agents with high risk of transmission, sich risk group 4 (Ebola) or risk group 3, resistant to antibiotics (Tuberculosis) or group 2 capable to provoke pandemics such Influenza H7N9, in collaboration with Catalonia Public Health Agency. This guide is of mandatory application in all the Catalan public health centers.

Since 2007 is Eurofortis a dynamic Czech-Latvian centre based in Riga, Latvia which was transformed in 2011 into Biedriba Eurofortis not for profit organisation working in training field, personal and professional competence development.
Biedriba Eurofortis takes active part in European educational projects realized within the framework of Erasmus+ Programme and ensures availability of educational and up to date learning materials, tools and methods, as well as seminars and different training within projects mostly aimed at identification, development and improvement of various competences and knowledge. Also several projects related to ECVET project were done under Biedriba Eurofortis and our members are cooperating with few National experts in ECVET (European Credit System for Vocational Education and Training Programme) in Latvia.
Through that we aim to facilitate continuous training and development of local schools, enterprises and society in general.
Within the projects life cycle, we have experience with all different types of activities as research, product content development for training materials, serious games or assessment tools, organization and coordination of pilot testing, dissemination activities within
the various sectors and target audiences including large events as conferences for 140 people, development of project related IT products and websites or quality management and assurance.
Our latest projects were in several main areas of education and training. In addition, our staff members got in 2009 EFQM training, in 2013 became trained as internal EFQM Assessor (IAT) and EFQM assessor in 2015. Our experience covers various activities connected to EFQM implementation – Business excellence trainings; being assessors of EFQM Awards 2016, Latvian Quality Awards for Medical sector and International Quality Innovation Awards.
Biedriba Eurofortis is a member of the Latvian Society for Quality (KVALB) and is an important partner of CAL (Civic Alliance Latvia) umbrella organization acting in field of advocacy of non governmental organizations at the national level. On international level we are members of EURORESO (International Association with a scientific and educational purpose) and EUROBEN, non for profit association with a wide experience network in the field of Business Excellence and organisational improvement.
The target groups of the project are VET providers, public and private training institutes, companies that organise training, social partners, all kind education related and relevant stakeholders.

NATIONAL FEDERATION OF EMPLOYERS OF AMBULANCE (ANEA) was born in 1978 with the aim of offering services to its partners in the field of cooperation. At present, includes 134 small and large companies, of the 49 Spanish provinces, which have a total of 9,753 vehicles, employing 21,400 workers. ANEA represents the 98% of medical transport companies in Spain. ANEA, nonprofit entity, develop tools to facilitate the identification of the demands of the sector, so that it can deliver services and address lines necessary for the development of enterprises. In addition, ANEA is directly involved in the challenge of achieving a formal qualification within the framework of Training and the National Catalogue of Professional Qualifications for the medical transport industry. Today it is a reality and the title of Health Emergency Technician, average degree of vocational training, made his first academic year in 2008/2009.
